NICU reunion Photoshoot

Last week I had a privilege once again to photograph children at the NICU Reunion at the St.Joseph Mercy Hospital of Ann Arbor. This reunion is held every year for the last 7 years since the NICU was open at this hospital. Its really a treat for everyone, but mostly for nurses and neonatologist who many times never see "the fruit of their labor" otherwise. There are babies here that were born as early as 23 weeks and are doing great now, thanks to this great hospital and the staff.

It is cause very close to my heart, as my own children have spent almost 3 months after they were born. Since then I have been volunteering at this hospital with an awesome group called Family Advisory Board (FAB). It is an amazing group of parents who raise money for the unit (funds help families who have babies at the unit,) as well as organize events (like reunions) and various other fundraisers.

Last years Photoshoot at this reunion became a pretty great calendar ( my very first blog entry on this blog) and may very well become something very similar this year. Time will show.:)

Here few pic from the shoot. The trio running is my very own- Myers triplets. The theme this year was the Country Hoedown, hence the Western attire. I must say, there were some pretty awesome outfits, but see for yourself.
